SCHEDULE OF SCIENCE FAIR EVENTS
January to March
Individual Schools conduct building Science Fairs, including members of the homeschooling groups (IDEA, GIS, etc). Consult your child's classroom teacher for information about the date of the school fair.
The information contained in this website has all the information needed to prepare a science fair project acceptable for the school fairs. Students that have projects selected to participate in the Interior Alaska Science Fair (IASF) will receive entry forms and guidelines at the end of the school fair.
No later than March 5
Return IASF Entry Forms to school science fair coordinator. These forms are required for projects selected from the school fairs to participate in the Interior Alaska Science Fair. They may also be obtained from this website. However, because of limited space, only those projects selected by the school science fairs are eligible to participate in the IASF, though a few spots are reserved for homeschool students and others who do not have school science fairs to enter.
